We’re proud to present a new version of Auto Updater which supports a lot of cool new features.

WooCommerce support is a key feature of this release. Use all the advantages of WooCommerce to create the best Amazon affiliate websites in terms of look, search engine optimization, audience targeting and the most important, profit. Visitors of your websites would have absolutely real shopping experience and would be transferred to Amazon during the checkout process. As always, once they are at Amazon, 90-day cookie ensures you get a commission once they purchase the items.

Auto Updater plugin at your websites won’t get an automatic update. You should download a new Auto Updater plugin and re-upload it via WordPress or FTP. Backup your custom template files before you re-upload Auto Updater plugin.

Please note: usual WordPress categories and WooCommerce categories are different type of categories. In case you have WooCommerce installed, Auto Updater would work with WooCommerce categories only. In case you want to transfer your website to WooCommerce we recommend to backup all the URLs for all the categories from Auto Updater dashboard, then install WooCommerce, then re-create categories and place URLs into appropriate fields.

Recently Amazon implemented some changes in it’s system. As a result of those changes Asin Grabber is experiencing some problems reaching Amazon website. We’re monitoring the issue and it should be fixed as soon as possible. We already know several solutions, but we need some time for research and experiments to implement the best one.

A new version of Auto Updater has been released. It is related to recent Amazon changes and a way the plugin works. We had to add more files to a system folder which is the one that actually does the magic of Auto Updater. We decided not to take any risk and let you re-install the plugin manually. Just backup Auto Updater template files if you customized the default ones, delete the plugin from WordPress dashboard and install it again. Don’t worry, this action won’t affect any setting of the plugin. It is recommended to upgrade as soon as possible. All the other upgrades are going to be performed automatically as usual.

New features of Asin Grabber

We have added some new useful features to Asin Grabber.

Result fields has been changed to one big field. Order and delimiter options could be set before or after you get results.

One of the new features is a progress indication. As you know, the more asins you want to get at a time, the more time Asin Grabber needs to go through Amazon. Even more time is required if you want to get additional product related data. Asin Grabber didn’t show the progress before, it only showed that it’s busy, but sometimes for a number of reasons it never stopped and showed the result. Such behavior was fixed with a new progress indication feature.

Another new feature is a history page. Asin Grabber saves all the queries and all the results now. It is now possible to look through the history if required. It’s also possible to clear the history.
